Snake Repellant

December 28, 2008

Snakes especially the most toxic ones could be very dangerous both to you as an adult and even to your pets and your young ones. This is because these guys quite often sneak into our beds, our garages and sometimes by accident you keep your shoes out then this could be the last time you wear them.

But still one should understand the logic and the concept of these snakes. These guys do not have any personal rivalry against us but they just are attracted to us because of the lizards and the snakes that are hanging over our wall and cracks.

So this is why they sometimes just barge in our houses, and the reason why they attack is because they are very scared when confronted by us. They would think that we might want to devour them and so this is the reason they just seem to give us those terrible bites. So if the snake would be a non venomous one than that would not be of great issue. But on the contrary a bite from a venomous one could prove fatal too.

Snake venom is actually a kind of saliva that is produced and created by the snake itself, and this is produced in the body of the snake because of some special glands, which is only found in some deadly snakes. It’s actually the pituitary gland that secrets this toxic saliva and this is usually situated just below the eye of the snake.

There is a small bag like structure that is just above the fangs of the snake and when the snake is about to attack or one can say when it bites its prey the venom is injected through the fangs. The fangs of the snake are like those hypodermic needles that are hollow and they have holes at the end, so it’s when they inject the venom through it.

Remember that there are two types of venom that most of the snakes produce and that is the haemotoxic venom and the neurotoxin venom. The haemotoxic venom is more deadly that the other neurotoxins because this is a venom that has the capacity to rot and melt all the body tissues, so the body tissue and the cells that are affected with this venom would automatically start rotting and this would also spread over in your body. This ends up with gangrene and finally the doctor has to amputate that part of the body.

So if you are living in a desert prone area which is thickly inhabited by these snakes then I suggest that you should use the snake repellent to drive them away. Or else you should leave and evacuate that area before catastrophe would strike you.

So this is why you should use the snake repellent to drive them and keep them away from your houses and gardens.
